Electronic US Federal Tax Payment Site
In order to help small business owners, the US Federal Government has a website for you to be able to make an estimated Income Tax Payment so that you do not have a huge tax bill on April 15th of every year. In order to set this up, you must register online for the ability to make estimated tax payments. They keep track of how much you paid in, and will provide a refund if you overpay when you document your actual earnings for the year.
In order to register for this free service, you are encouraged to go online to eftps This site is a registration form used by the USA Federal Government. After you complete the form, you will receive in the US mail a letter that will have a pin code that you will need to complete your estimated payments. You will NOT have the ability to make a payment immediately upon completing the form. This information is true for all legal residents of the USA who have a social security number and a legal permanent residence in the United States, no matter which state that you live in.
If you live in a state that collects income taxes, then you will need to research the state in which you reside in order to find the small business laws for your area. If you live in a different country, then this information does not apply to you. On my website I have listed the states that do not have income taxes because those states are relatively few in number.
The federal taxes for fiscal 2018 are due on April 15th, 2019. This is true for every tax year. The IRS website encourages you to make payments throughout the year while you are earning the income, but they cannot force you to make those payments in advance, however, they can financially penalize you if you fail in your responsibility to pay taxes, along with other repercussions if proven that you intentionally avoided paying your bill.
When you file your federal returns, the states that collect income taxes receive electronically from the computers the information you document about your income. PLEASE NOTE that these estimated payments that you are making is ONLY on your federal return and is considered a separate bill than your state required payment. You will need to research your state income tax guidelines and see if the state in which you reside has a similar system to make payments to them as well.
Good luck on your new adventure!
Sincerely,
Angela M Working

Thanks for the tax info. I will be getting a business license very soon. I have not yet made anything but I do want to be legal.
Thank you.
