Ranking is Never Exact, or Permanent.
Just a quick note to share some keyword ranking results with you.
One product review on my site features a main keyword phrase, as we're taught by WA, plus several other keywords sprinkled throughout the content. I checked my site rank positions for each one via Jaaxy, and here are the results (first number is two days ago, second number is today):
Main keyword phrase:
- 3-3
Keywords that moved up:
- 111-83
- 32-28
- 25-13
Keywords that moved down:
- 115-120
- 30-35
Keywords no longer ranked (not in top 200):
- 25-?
- 29-?
- 49-?
Lessons learned:
- Ranking is never exact
- Ranking is never permanent
- Another two days from now (or weeks, or months) these will be different again.
Rank positions are going to change continuously, so don't get too hung up on them. Just do your research to find the best keyword phrases, then write great content and let Google do it's thing.

I haven't even looked at ranking yet ... I's still trying to get good, informative, and helpful content far enough along and my site optimized and monetized! Some day soon .... I'll start thinking about ranking! Melody
Hi Bart, yes it does fluctuate but it is good to just keep an eye on them so you can build the content needed to better the ranking. You can always go back to the post that is not doing well in the rankings and play around with the content or keyword phrases that may help it climb. Good info, keep up the good work.
