Bitter Sweet Progress At Wealthy Affiliate
I Can't believe how much progress I have made in just a few days!
I am very excited to share my progress. so here goes...
My Niche - Online business, Home based business, Affiliate Marketing
I chose to start off by promoting Wealthy Affiliate. Reason being I am very comfortable being a WA ambassador out there on the Internet. I have tried, before, to promote other programs only to end up disappointed or looking like am part of the conning game. Integrity is a hard thing to come by with most of the systems on the internet. If it's not up-sells that are not initially disclosed, it's empty promises just to get you to fill in your credit card details. I am still yet to find anything sneaky about WA.
I also love this niche since I can Identify with it. I started looking at online businesses because I wanted work that would not take me away from my kids.
My Successes
Wow. Being able to write an article a day is one. That's a big milestone for me.
My website indexed by google. I don't even know where it ranks yet but it feels good just to know it has been ranked somewhere. It will be on the first page soon :)
Knowing my way around Wordpress is another. My blog looks much better now, not there yet, but it looks readable.
My Plans and Goals in the next 3 months
-One is to hit the 300 referrals mark. Yes I can.
-I have made a commitment to work on it until I see something come out of this. I am considering this period as my foundation phase.
-I also plan to greatly improve my WA ranking during this time. I will be very active so watch out for me lol
My Goals in the next 6 months
I have been following awesome people here who have succeeded with WA. Others have been around a bit longer, others not too long. I have no Idea how much money I will be earning at WA when I hit the 6 month mark from the time of launching my website. All I know is that I am very motivated to get to where these people are. Am in it to win it.
I do have other personal goals. I will document my journey and when these goals are achieved as I go.
Parting shot...
If you notice on my profile, I signed up in 2014. Yes! Sometimes stuff happens in life that derails you and drags you backwards.
That's why my progress is bitter sweet; in such a short time, I have achieved so much. I wonder where I would be right now if I hadn't fallen behind those two years. But I will not dwell on what I could not change and had no control of. I will dwell instead on what is ahead. I will use the drawbacks as stepping stones to propel myself forward.
For someone who has been going through something, never give up. The dawn always ushers in another chance to rise up and start all over again. Mornings have become my favorite part of the day.
Only good things are ahead :)

I'm so happy to read this post. I am in a similar situation. I originally signed up for wealthy affiliate 2 years ago and for whatever reason I just didn't get round to giving it a go until the other day when I decided that I had nothing to lose and plenty of time on my hands. So I have set up my first two websites and have started working actively on one of them. I only have two posts at the moment but am dedicating the next month to studying everything that WA has to offer and then focusing all my energy on my sites. I added my first new recruit on today and I am looking forward to us succeeding together. I have given them some healthy and fair advice and I hope it works out great for them!
