I have a website and domain name that I purchased through WIX,com. I have not published the website, but will I be able to bring it over here?
Thank you everyone for your responses. But this is a website. Why would need to copy everything from my website to Wordpress which is a blog?
Since they aren't compatible, you would have to just duplicate your content in a Wordpress theme here (copy & paste). Wordpress isn't just a blog it's a complete website with powerful blog capabilities. The blog is going to be what you're constantly updating and writing for. Hope that helps. If you're WIX site isn't that developed, it shouldn't take too long.

Is there any content on your Wix website yet? If not then there's no need for you to do anything with it. Wix isn't a supported format and isn't compatible with Wordpress.
I would just start over fresh and start building your website using Wordpress. Wordpress is one of the most user-friendly content management systems out there and it's a whole lot more powerful than just a blog.

Is there any additional cost for having a website through Site Rubix or having a domain name?
siterubix is free to use.
If you want to have your own domain you will have to purchase it, which you can now do at Wealthy Affiliate. It'll cost you $13,99
The only cost is the domain registration fee for personally-owned domains. WA now offers domain registration. You can also register domains with any registrar such as Namecheap (my favorite), Godaddy, 1&1, or others. Domain registration typically costs $10-15 per year for each domain. There is no cost at all for siterubix subdomains.

SiteRubix's .siterubix domains, however, are completely free. Premium users can have as many as they want (or was it 25? I forget) for free. WA does offer a domain name service here if you don't want to buy from another company, however.
