It Takes Time Be Patient

I originally joined WA over a year ago. I dived in head first, flew through the training and thought I was just fantastic. I skimmed through parts and didn't fully implement the training. I joined affiliate programs and started promoting. Nothing was happening, no visitors, no sales and I gave up within 1 month.

How Impatient Was I?!

I expected everything to happen over night. To get visitors, to get sales and to be able to quit my job and live the high life. What went wrong? Why was I not making any sales?

The answer was I was impatient. I didn't understand the fundamentals of Kyles teachings. When you start building your website it is a long term business you are building. Meaning everything you do, every step you take takes you one step closer to success but not all the way. That comes with time.

My Website Now

I started from scratch and joined WA again. My website is in the antivirus niche. Take a look at Virus Refuge.

I just love sharing my progress with you and really enjoy the feedback that I get.

No sales yet because I have learned this time around that I am building my website for the long term. To gain the readers trust I am waiting until I have a following before inserting any affiliate links.

I have seen so many websites with affiliate banners splashed everywhere with very little content. How does that look to a reader? They will leave and you have lost them.

Really enjoying my time with WA. The community is fantastic. Are you new to WA? Have you a website built yet? Comment below, share your websites and let us all know how you are progressing.

Andrew, you are right on point. It does take time, time to build your foundation. That's like the cornerstone of the business you are trying to build on. This is my second time around with WA, not knowing what I had the first time around. I'm back with a passion to help people who would like to "Try Something New" That's the domain name of my website of stayonthe1.com. WA is my new lifestyle, by helping people along the way. Much success to you on your journey.

Thanks for the comment Ricardo. The community here is what makes it worthwhile. I will not be leaving. My website is now ranking on Google and even one of my keywords is getting me to page one. It's only been about a month. I think it takes the initial push and dedication to get everything set up and flowing and after that you can relax a bit and keep adding content.

I think I am a bit like yourself with regards to your approach at first.I am going to go through the get started again, its good to see also what you can recall although there are bound to be things I have forgotten or not implemented. As regards to my tennis site I dont think there are too many affiliate links on mine. Its good to review.
