Mushrooms have you ever thought of how many different things mushrooms do for us ? I am going to list a few.

There is a fairly new diet , it's called the flexaterian diet, so what you do is this ; example >
making hamburgers for dinner: 1~ roll up your portion of hamburger (how ever big you want to make it, go huge .
2~take your mushroom (of choice) chop (finely)
3~cut hamburger party in half
4~take out as much chopped mushroom as needed to make up for the hamburger that you have removed from your patty, roll hamburger and mushroom together and remake your patty
5~ cook jUst like you would your normal hamburger
idea is to eat the same amount as you would like ,now you have reduced calorie intake , sodium, fat,ect,replaced with all kinds of benefits from your mushroom. You are not feeling deprived from foods you love or portions . You can do this with so many different dinner meats and you will be surprised at the way you feel.
