Reflections, One Year Anniversary and a Pep Talk
To be honest, I was planning on writing an entirely different blog post today. (Although, I hadn't decided if I was actually going to write it because I didn't want to depress anybody.)
This has been an extra tough week for me. The coronavirus and social distancing are starting to take its toll on me.
Plus, on Wednesday, there was an earthquake where I live. Thankfully, all my family are safe. In addition, I am dealing with some difficult decisions in my life that are scary, overwhelming, and confusing.
To stop my negative thoughts, I immediately logged onto Wealthy Affiliate and was met with a pop-up reminding me of a very important event.
Today marks my one year anniversary being here and involved with WA.
I felt so happy and smiled to myself. (Maybe that's a little creepy, but you can't always stop a smile, not that I would want to in this case.) Wealthy Affiliate has been such a blessing and a Godsend in my life.
As I reflect on this past year, so much has happened. I have seen defeat, failure, overwhelm, confusion, and disappointment. I have also experienced success, triumph, and excitement.
Not to mention everything I have learned through the trainings with Kyle as well as the webinars with Jay. Plus, the trainings and blogs from you, WA family, that have taught me so much.
If you are still on the fence about joining WA, I say jump in with both feet. Be ready and willing to go through the training applying what you learned. Progess can be slow, but every little success matters and counts.
If you are a member but are struggling because nothing is working and you are doing everything right and are considering leaving, I say don't and wait. It can take time for things to work. It took quite a bit of time for me to see success. Be patient and keep going.
If you keep working and follow through with the training, you will see success. Be proud of every milestone.
That's all for now.
