Identify your Customer
I feel we need to direct our content to the intended customers. We need to identify what niche are we targeting what are the demography of the target niche. What is their browsing pattern, level of education, age group, where to find them and so on. Content of the website has to be tailored towards this identified and targeted niche.
Am I in the right direction?

Another thing that needs to be considered is the speed of one's website. If pages or photos take too long to load, visitors will move on (even if the content is great).
I agree with you. Especially when in a very competitive industry.
True. And, to stay competitive we need to stay on top of all there is to do (create good content, SEO, keep up with social media, tend to the inner workings of our site, etc.). But, thankfully, it can be done. We just have to understand that the learning never stops. With learning, we can keep on top of everything a little easier.
WA is a good platform to learn all it takes to build good content and a quality traffic generating website. All we need do is get our hands dirty and learn the nitty gritty of good website.
