Level 3 Task 3
Okay guys, this one has me frustrated already. I went to a Sharesource as recommended in the video, they took me just fine, but nobody is willing to look at me yet because I haven't truly launched the page yet. They din't even have the affiliates I actually want, so I went to CJ, which rejected my site email immediately for God knows what reason, so I used my personal email, okay. Told them I was new. Okay. I am trying to properly set up my profile which I watched video one of two on how to do but the second one is lost in the YouTubeverse, somewhere out in the ether. All I really want to do is change my image on the sight to something other than a member of the blue man group.
So I decide to strike out into the Googleverse to see what I can find on my own, again more of the people I really want to affiliate with are on CJ, but one of my two white whales has dropped their affiliate program altogether, temporarily, but it ain't there right now while I'm doing my research.
Think, think, think Mindy think. What now? How can I complete my homework? I can't so my mind wanders to alternate streams of income on my site until I get this thing sorted. I could offer coaching, but I need to post about 5 more lessons before I even hint at it. I can search for more individual affiliate programs, the ones I trust to offer on my site, I happen to be protective and particular about my subject and those I will be catering to. Maybe I should get the videos
started because this is making me nuts.
Oh yeah, right, the computer with the editing software installed was fried while replacing the screen three weeks ago. I can't even remember what I had on it. AAAAAnnnnddddd here's Hansel my almost two year old kitty who wants me to love and stroke him and will not take no for an answer, I spoke about that in my last blog, and right behind him and in between his insistence I have Panda, wanting the same attention, then low and behold Belly has another toothache, he just lost a fang two weeks ago and I don't have the money to take him to the vet.
Time to eat some dinner and veg out on the boob tube, look, an email from my new employers who I haven't actually started working for yet. My second training task is ready. Click on the link and eh viola error 404 file not found. At this point I choose to laugh. Apparently television was what I was meant to do for the night.
