Eureka, at last I have found how to add affiliate links to my blogs. I followed Kyle's training and applied to I Herb for acceptance as an affiliate.

I was accepted. They sent me informaion they I found difficult to follow and I simply could not find the vital affiliate link code to add to my posts.

Then I set up a meeting with my old "Webmaster" for tomorrow morning, as I thought this might speed things up as there are lots of other things like "site maps" that I am not very clear about so it seemed like a good idea to kill several birds with a single stone!

Last night I came back and looked at it again and this time it seemed to fall into place and I was able to find the link code and add it. Lo and Behold it worked! Now, I stand a chance of earning some money. OK, I herb offers a mere 5% commission on what are for the most part small ticket items. But they are items that are important to me and my intention was to start a Blog that looked at Vitamin and Mineral supplementation and I have made a start. There are other companies that offer bigger commissions but I need somebody who ships outside of North American and Western Europe. That limits my field at the outset. Anyway, I have made a start and that feels very good!

Looking still further it seems I have written 7,856 words since joining WA and I am told that is 87% more than WA Members this month. I am truly surprised at this. I struggle to write a blog post every week and I did not think this was particularly productive, but seemingly I am wrong. I have written 7 "posts" since joining WA in the third week of March. That does not include the 3 Posts I have written in this section. Of the 7 articles 4 have been accepted by Google and 3 have not... I am rather disappointed by this. It seems the more recent articles are taking longer to gain Google's acceptance. As they have all been about nutritional supplements, I wonder if Google has a problem with "alternative medicine". I am also told my writing level is 4/5. I have not the faintest idea what this means. .

When I look for people to follow, and it seems my numbers are low in this department as my network numbers only 233 but I am following 377 people. That suggests many are not following me back. I digress, when I look for people I click on their profile and look to see where else I can follow them. There is a space entitled "Follow Me On" underneath articles published to this internal blog. Now, I didn't know this facility existed until a few days ago and it seems many other people have the same problem. We are not allowed to spam out blogs but we can put the information in that area for others to follow up on. I really suggest you check it out and put material there for others to see. The entire purpose of having a blog is to have followers. This is a facility tat could easily increase that very important number.
