I have chosen a specific color yellow for my website as i was told yellow/yellow-orange can subliminally cause excitement/happiness when seen. you can see an example of my colo
I looked at your website and did not find anything that was offensive.
I did not find anything that made me excited, or bored or wanting to kill myself.'
I also did not see the color yellow; It might just be me, but, with all the space and sub titles, it was a balanced piece of work...

The fact that being an artist is part of your niche means that color would be important. I don't think you can use on individual words and line in siterubix.com sites, but that is how I use color. I add color to my background and then color titles to work with the back ground color. I have never studied color, but I have in my mind what colors I think are exciting, serious, trustworthy, fun, etc. I may not use the right colors, but I do use color.
The page looks fine to me with lots of white space. You just need to keep in mind that it should not be distracting or be difficult to read.

clear lines and bold simplistic colors seems to work best, especially a white background
