7 days into WA
OK, so I'm now just a week into becoming a premium member of WA and I have to say, I'm lovin' it! Here's a breakdown of what I've achieved so far....
1. Picked my niche - camping (because I love it!)
2. Done a lot of keyword research and got a list of low hanging fruit phrases
3. Built my website in Wordpress
4. Purchased my own domain name www.thecampingbug.com
5. Written shed loads of content for the site (still not finished, but the pages are up there!) and published the content on Google+. Followed 6 people from WA
6. Researched a load of content and found a lot of sites that I can use for research purposes.
7. Sorted out my own email addresss. Upgraded my Outlook to 2016 (many thanks to Marion Black for your help!) Imported my other email addresses to Outlook 2016
8. Watched and learnt from the training (now finished Level 2) and have engaged with some brilliant people here!
9. Put my white board up in my office (only taken er, 2 years!!)
10. Looked at some affiliate programmes in the camping domain, but need to learn what's good and what's not so good in Training Level 3.
My goals for the next 3 months are to:
1. Finish the content on my site
2. Sign up for affiliate programmes
3. Drive Traffic
4. Craft some landing pages and lead magnets to drive traffic
5. Make a time-lapse video of me putting my tent up and post it (!!!!!!!)
6. Take a load of photographs to post to my blog
7. Become an affiliate with Amazon
8. Actually write something on my white board (!!!!)
9. Get more involved in the community and get my rank up for zero to hero (or at least upwards!)
10. Trade up from my lowly tent to a funky camper van
My 6 month goals are:
1. Actually start to make money from my website
2. Drive traffic to my site. Approach advertisers
3. To give up my self employed marketing job, travel in my camper van all over the place, writing blogs and generally having a good time!
Do you think that's too much to ask? I'm going to give it my best shot anyway!
