Progress report!
Hi there WA family!
Just a little update to let you know how I'm settling in here :) I've been premium since the start of May and part of WA for about a week before that haha so it's still early days for me. I've found the community to be so welcoming and helpful and the training to be really top-notch! I've learned skills I never thought I would of and Kyle in particular has been really helpful!
My Site
So I started my site a little while ago with the aim of building traffic steadily and hopefully getting some affiliate sales along the way! Now I haven't gotten any affiliate sales at the moment but that's ok, my traffic is building and I'm seeing progress which is the important thing. My niche isn't particularly lucrative, I blog about eco-friendly tips and living responsibly, but I love it and I write when I can. I would love to be earning from my site but for now I am focusing on building that traffic up and putting my new skills to good use improving it.
How long did it take you guys to start earning? I know we are all on our own journey's and ultimately I'd love to build my website and others to start running training for things like meditation courses and guided visualizations using my WA knowledge to build traffic and create the business.
I love writing but...
I'm going to be honest with you all I've really struggled to write consistent content! I've had the time and the motivation but sometimes I can't think of anything to write about! Admittedly this was more of a problem when I was so focused on following the training 1 lesson a day and I got to the affiliate links and making money part but only had 5 hits on my site this week! I was so focused on following that training and getting my links sorted out that I was getting frustrated with it all. So I decided to try a change of tac and focus on building my traffic rather than working on my affiliations . After all what good is a link if no-one's around to click it!
So here I am
I'm a few months in and it's been a really interesting journey so far. It's been fun, it's been frustrating, it's been upsetting at times but I'm still here for the ride and I'm learning valuable skills. I head back to university to carry on my vocational course this September so that will be an interesting challenge and it's one I'm looking for ward to as I know I can get into that flow and write 2-3 posts a week!
Have you had a similar experience? Are you new or a veteran with wealth of experience to share? I'd really love to hear your experiences :)
Alex

Good evening my friend, congratulations you're doing great. Keep doing what you are doing, writing good content , email marketing, writing two or three articles a week, sometimes you may need to buy leads, these are some of the major players for traffic. Follow the training precisely and you will do just fine. May posterity be always with you.

Alex, you have the right approach, but it does take time.

Thanks Stuart, it's nice to hear that I'm on the right track!
You certainly appear to be.
