I am glad you got everything worked out. I am concerned that the training and links did not answer your questions. Be careful when downloading plugins if they are not wordpress.
Best of luck to you
Danny

Thanks. A new training could be done for this topic in truth. The plugins I downloaded that did not work. I deactivated and deleted.

Ok guys I had tried everything but to no avail.
Then I said let me check out my good old friend Youtube and sure enough I was successful in my search !

A plugin called "Widgets on pages" was the answer to my problems. Pretty close to me "widgets to pages" blogs Ha! Anyways.
I found this video thank instructed me how to add a widget to a page.

Here is the link

It did the job. Would like to get the widget fit a bit better though.
Here is how it looks on my page.

Thanks for asking, great to know :)

If you want a widget to be exclusive to a page but not visible anywhere else:

1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Widgets" on your dashboard.
2. Add the widget and click on the arrow next to it to change the options. http://i.imgur.com/lJ0urNg.png
3. Click on "Visibility", then you can choose when that widget shows up. Such as "Show" if "Page" is "Contact Me" like you see here. http://i.imgur.com/ZiOKA4T.png

Thanks. I do not have these options or I am not seeing them. This is giving me a lot of trouble.

Is that from a plugin?

Which option are you not seeing? The visibility button? This should be available by default.

I choose the "text" widget for sidebar area. It has triangle. When I click the triangle it has title. Followed by a big blank space (which I entered the code for the widget). At the bottom there is an automatically add paragraphs box to tick. Then save. No visibility button next to save.

Explain in more detail what you are thinking, pls.
