My attemp to build online business

This is my second attempt to build online business and make a living from this business. It is the only option for me to earn some money. If you read my profile you can see that regular 9-5 job is out of a question for me, so I must find another way to make some funds.

First attempt was more then 15 years ago, I was amazon affiliate and I had several websites selling amazon goods and earning commissions. But I also have a job back then, so my affiliate websites were not so important for my life. Today is different story. Now my online business is essential for me to survive. But I want to learn about building online business before any attempt to make it real. I believe that WA will give me necessary knowledge, so I can boost my skills and create great websites. I am so grateful I found WA. I have technical knowledge, I know how to create website, from code to design. But I need knowledge about finding a niche for my business, driving traffic to my websites, SEO, marketing and much more. As far as I explored WA there is a course for my every need, great courses. And community is unbelievable. I know I can count on other members to help me out when I get stuck on a problem.

I have some resources for next 6 months, so I can survive. I will spend this 6 months learning and creating demo projects on my test servers. I know that on my side is lack of understanding about what’s involved in creating and maintaining an online business. I am aware that simply having a website is not a business model to succeed. I have a lot of books about business and other stuff, I am sort of a book freak. If I see good book I must buy it.(majority in pdf format). At least this was the case in my past. Today I cannot afford spending money on books, but I already have big library, so I can find information’s. I attended many certification seminars during 1995-2002, from various fields. But I always felt that something is missing. And I know now that WA is the place for missing knowledge.

I wrote down some plans and goals for the following year. I will post on my blogs important milestones, so I can monitor my progress. I also invested in some special software for keeping all my projects in one place. Also I have software for collecting information's from various sources, websites, pdf documents, rich texts etc. I must have everything organized. If you are interested in such a software send me a message and I can send you what software I am using. I've tested a lot of different options before I finally decided and invested in software. I am using Mac OS X for my daily routines and tasks.

Anyway, I want to launch my first website within 3 months. That’s my number one goal. I have plans to build several websites and I already registered domains. But I do not want to wait too long for business to start, so I will build those websites one by one. I do not want to wait to complete all websites and then launch all at the same time. I think one by one is better approach. Because I don’t have a job, I will dedicate all my time to work on these projects. Like I said I want to complete some courses here at WA first, and then start with real work. At the moment I can work 10-12 hours a day. I have a schedule, I work 25 minutes and I have 5 min break. Then again 25 minutes and then again a 5 min break. Every fourth break is 20 min long. I have special software called Focus, which serves as productivity timer. It simply measures time and breaks. I found this approach to working schedule very good and useful. This way I can really work 10-12 hours a day.

So in the following days I will concentrate to find some niches for my business and the journey begins. Although I am diagnosed with depression (I do have medications and I do a lot of meditation) I am optimistic for now, and look forward to watch my business grow.

This blog summarize some my future plans for building and maintaining online business and generate solid income. I do not want to become rich with my online projects. I just want to generate solid stream of money to support myself and not to depend on other people. If you have any comment or recommendation, please feel free to respond, I want to learn new stuff.
