Make Money Online
This is the headline that attracts so many people and why wouldn't it. You are told how easy it is by many of the Internet Guru's. Just "follow my system" and the money will soon be rolling in... How many have been sucked in by that - I did in the early days of my online journey. Now, a few years later I am a bit older and definitely a lot wiser knowing it just does not work like that.
The thought of making money for not much work appeals to the human psyche. It pulls people in and the mind goes on to visualise everything you could do with all this money.. I don't know how many times in the past I have purchased a system which I thought was pretty good and often paid a fair amount of cash for it. The start was good and many a time there was hope of progressing, but alas it all fell to bits when I realised it was not viable or would cost more money to complete.
One group that consistently bomb your email address with offers like the ones mentioned are the folks who have just discovered this new way of creating success in some form of Internet marketing and now want you to join in with this surefire way of succeeding. Their systems or courses are usually low level cost and they often hook a lot of people with their promises of becoming rich like them.
Through a lot of trial and error I have come to know that without the proper training and resources you are not going to make it online. That might be hard to take, but it is true. The best way to give yourself a chance to succeed is to get good quality training and a decent mentoring system. There are a few that I have been involved in with Guys like Chris Farrell, Jimmy D Brown, and Jim Cockburn and all these are quality folks with good membership sites. But by far the best is the one I have now joined and it is Wealthy Affiliate. Yes, I want to promote this site because after all this time online I feel I am progressing the right way. I have been involved for a little over a month now and have not made any sales yet. But that is not important to me at this point. I am laying the foundations with all the excellent teaching and friendships that, I am sure will bring it's rewards in the future.
