What Is Your Experience With Tubebuddy and vidIQ - Do You Need Them?
Hi Everybody,
I hope you are having a great week so far?
Here in the UK the weather is mild and sunny so it seems that Spring has arrived at last.
I would like to ask the community about their experience with the well known apps Tubebuddy and vidIQ. I have tried and tested both and have concluded that I prefer vidIQ for enhancing my 3 youtube channels. What is your experience of both of these softwares? Do you have another app that you prefer, that does almost the same as either of these 2 apps?
I have been growing all 3 of my Youtube channels to around 6000 subscribers over a couple of years of concentrated effort, that is, @alpusgroup, @alpuspropertydevelopment, @businessestostartonashoestring. I have been challenged by a friend of mine who has managed to grow her channel to that sort of size organically without any resort to software apps like tubebuddy or vidiq, her channel is @natureandhistoryofmountains.
Did I just waste all the money that I have spent on Tubebuddy and vidIQ?
I would be interested to hear everyone's experience about the use of these apps, and whether you think they are necessary? Also if you have been able to find another way of doing things in order to get good results for your videos, subscribers and views and most importantly engagement.
Let me know your opinion in the comments below this post.
I wish you a peaceful and happy weekend ahead!
Cheers
Alan

Hey Alan, why do you prefer VidIQ to TubeBuddy? You can grow organically but using one of these tools will definitely speed up the process a lot if you are doing everything well. It starts with eye-catching thumbnails and a luring title. From there, you have to hook the viewer in the first few seconds and keep it entertaining throughout the video. Use SEO properly and target the best combination of keywords and tags, ensure your seed phrase is in your title and description too. You can have a look at my profile to get an idea of what I have been doing.
When it comes to monetization with Adsense, that is a whole different ball game. You need to focus on content that pays well for CPM and RPM.
Hi Hein, Thank you very much for taking the time to read and comment on my post. I can certainly learn a lot from you (its my passion, learning), so I'll check out your blog posts and youtube channels. Although Ive made some progress, I need to raise my game significantly. Wishing you every success, cheers Alan.
I think we can always learn from one another, especially with this community of like-minded individuals. 😃
Learning has been a passion of mine too, it's a neverending joyous journey! You're doing well already, keep it up.

Hi Alan. Thanks for this interesting post. I've never tried TubeBuddy, but I love VidIQ. It has easy straight to the point training and excellent tools. And you can't over-do the training it cuts off at a certain point so no training overload and fatigue. VidIQ is YouTube video training for people - what more can you ask. But honestly no one can tell you all about VidIQ you have to try it for yourself and it's completely free to try and use many of the tools. And if you choose to go paid, it's well worth the cost.
Wishing you great success, cheers, Kundi.😊
