Can I use multiple URLs and point them back to the same site, e.g. "Dogbeds.com" and "dogssleepwell.com" (these are just examples).
Thanks much in advance,
I suppose you could, but I don't know how Google would consider this. I don't know what your idea is exactly Adam, perhaps promoting keyword rich domains and pointing them back to your primary domain.
If so would you use 301 redirects? I don't know if this would give you any SEO boost.
Perhaps someone else will have the answer!
@Pete @Mac: I am not quite sure, yet and I am don't even know if it is worth the effort. The idea was to use several key-word-rich domains and have them point back to my main domain. I saw a small accounting firm here in the area doing that and thought it may help generate additional traffic... Thanks much for getting back to me though...
I don't see why not... it's a tricky one though, can you explain a bit more how you intend to go about doing this on your website?
I mean, you can always cloak your links or use a Pretty Link... if I have understood your question right. :)

Does anybody run a health-based site? I was advised that one can still run into several liability issues even after posting medical disclaimers and telling people over and over
Wow that is a bit of a concern... I'm thinking of creating a health/fitness-based website down the track, but I hadn't given much thought to the legal issues that this might entail.
There's definitely a good number of people on here who run health-based websites, I'd be interested to hear what they have to say too. I'll follow this thread to find out too! :)
Best, Mac :)
Risks associated with health-basedexercise sites?

Does anybody know if I can "park"/deactivate my site? If so, how can I do that? Adam
You can use a plugin to put it into "coming soon" or maintenance mode, e.g.:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-coming-soon-page/
There are other plugins that will do the same or similar thing.

I am utterly confused at this point regarding key word searches. I use Jaaxy to identify low hanging fruit type keywords but when typing this key word into Google I am shown 9
Yes! Google is a search engine and not a keyword research tool, so when you type your keyword into Google it will give you results for every time that keyword is used in part and in whole.
If you want to use Google to double check Jaaxy or the WA keyword tool there are a series of steps you need to do to get a fairly accurate result. I explain how in my training at the link below. How to do Keyword Research Correctly
Hi Adam,
You have to put your keyword into Google with quotes ("keyword") and then click through to the last page of the search results. There you will finally have the competition for the keyword. A long winded procedure! There is a video on this: How to Find Your True Competition in Google - Understanding QSR You can also use the WA keyword tool, enter your keyword and click on view result in the competition column, you will see the competition in Google.

I made a Camtasia video but can't upload it to my blog. It has 128 MB. Does anybody now how to shrink it to size? Also does anybody know of a good youtube tutorial and how to u
You would need to use either YouTube or Vimeo or one of the other video hosting services, upload the video there first, then embed the video on your site.
Most video hosting services offer compression and size reductions settings or tools.
It's not a good idea to host your own videos. It will slow down your site.
Leo's training below can help with using keywords and SEO for videos. Although it is specifically for YouTube, the principles can be applied generally. How To SEO A YouTube Video ~Jude
Glad it helped. Most video hosting sites have a free option, e.g. YouTube, Vimeo or others. They all provide the embed code for your website.
You will find training via the WA search bar for how to embed the code, when you are ready. ~Jude
