where do i paste my meta tag. ?

At this point i really need help, i have been trying to figure this out for about a week now. i am really interested in this affiliate program. please help me somebody

Thanks for posting this. As a beginner, can anyone please help me understand what is actually a meta tag and what are they used for? Are these the same tags that we add in our WP back office while submitting a post?
Thanks for the explanation. I have got Amazon affiliate links on my site, so where do I get the meta tag code from? I mean do I need to check it with Amazon or is it a standard code that we can enter in the site code?
I think Amazon asks you to include Amazon Affiliate Disclaimer on your site. Not sure if that is the same thing as meta tags so as to verify the site ownership!!!
The main confusion that I have is that where do you get the meta tag code from (that is to be pasted on your site) even if you are using Google Adsense?
