Hi Akwindah, I didn't quite understand what is you need help with. Probably I get you wrong but the platform is not for promotion instead you have all the training, resources and tools to build a website of yours where you definitely can promote not only your G+ or Youtube account but many other social media too if you can focus on a specific niche

You are getting it wrong. You promote content or your blog not your Gmail.
we promote content using URL. I guess it goes both ways. if I am wrong please let me know. I still have a lot of learning
