Akwi, I just had this issue yesterday when attempting to use a banner for one of my WA posts. I checked your site and saw what you were referring to, the banners in the widgets are clickable but not the one in the post.

If you're using Site Content to type your blog posts, you can add your links by clicking "edit".

Move the cursor over the banner image, click, and you'll see "edit".

Click that and you'll see where you can add an Alt Tag which is just a brief description of the image (Google searches for this) and a place where you can add either your URL to your website or your affiliae link. Once you place your URL in the appropriate spot, just make sure to save.
