KEY TO SUCCESS: Treat Your Business Like Your Own Child
I just wanted to share a piece of encouragement to my WA community to give you a little motivation this Saturday morning as you focus on your online business this weekend!
If you are a mother or a father, you know exactly what it is like to raise a child. Especially when they are first born. You're constantly attentive to your child. You think about their needs 24/7. You put them on a feeding schedule. You make sure they're nurtured and taken care of. You protect them at all cost. The first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning is, "Let me check on my child."
As crazy as it may sound, that is EXACTLY how you should be treating your business. Anything less is falling short. If you're serious about changing your life and creating a lifestyle of wealth and freedom through online entrepreneurship, take care of your business like you would take care of your child. Plain and simple. If you do that, your business will grow and mature into something incredible.
When I woke up this morning, the first thing on my mind was my business. I was excited to get out of bed and check on it. I was excited to tend to it and see how it was doing. I was eager to find out what its needs were and provide them. It's the weekend, but I don't care. Do you ignore and neglect your child just because it's Saturday? Of course you don't!
Even if you don't have children, maybe you have a younger sibling. Or even a pet. Either way, you know what it means to have to take care of something.
I personally do not have children. But I have spent my life being around enough mothers and fathers to know what it takes to raise a child. And when you decide to start a business, it truly is analogous to raising a child. You have to raise your business from infancy into maturity until it can stand on its own, and even then, you never stop caring for it.
Stay encouraged, everyone! Take your business seriously. Nurture it as if you gave birth to it, because in a way... you did.
