The Adventure Begins!

I upgraded to Premium yesterday. Yay!

It was a big decision in many ways... I have had some bad experiences trying to learn affiliate marketing. I've been suckered into a few scams, spent a lot of money, and learned absolutely nothing except that the world is full of people who will happily take your last dollar. I almost didn't check out WA for that reason. I'm glad I changed my mind and decided to take a look. :)

From the first day, I knew WA is different - no one tried to upsell anything, and there was SO MUCH information available to me as a free member. I was amazed. Still, I was determined that I was NOT going to spend any money on this... But the more I read, the more impressed I was by the honesty and integrity I saw, the quality of the training, and the kindness of the community. Finally, I knew I had to upgrade despite my fears and bad experiences.

If you've read my profile, you know that my background is in administration and caregiving. What it doesn't say is that I have never, ever been on my own. I went from my parents' home to my husband to my career as a live-in caregiver. When my client passed away (she was also my best friend) I knew I didn't want to continue in caregiving, nor did I want to go back to the corporate world. I knew I needed to find a way to support myself from home, but I was kind of paralyzed by my fears: I was afraid to do anything because I was afraid I'd do the wrong thing. I am blessed with a loving sister who understood my fear and let me live with her while I sorted out my life, so although I have no income at least I have a home. I was trying to imagine what I could do to support myself from home, online, from anywhere, when WA came into my life. Perfect timing!

Anyway, by day six I knew I HAD to do this. I made the commitment to myself to stick with the training, build the successful business I knew I could build with the tools and support I found here, and create the life I want. With the future I now envision, being on my own is a lovely adventure instead of the scary thing it was.

For many people, upgrading means taking advantage of a great opportunity. For me, it means that and more - it means stepping out into the void and trusting that I can fly. I think I feel my wings sprouting...
