Days #37-53 - A Brief Hiatus

Hi all,

I have been away for a bit working on a lot of college material that needed to be submitted by the end of March. This necessitated a brief hiatus from posting and trying to create new content. Just uploaded a post.

Unfortunately, I noticed my beautiful brindle, Pullo, had an ugly lump in his "armpit" region on the skin. I researched it and it was either a) a type of growth that dogs get and disappears after a couple of months or b) cancer. The lump started to expand so I took him to my vet.

I had delayed taking him because I knew the vet would want to remove it no matter what it was. I couldn't afford what I knew was going to be expensive surgery, Pullo is 110 lbs. I finally got paid on April 1. I took him to the vet April 2.

He gave me the news I was afraid of, that it was cancer and possibly malignant. Pullo went into surgery yesterday. They found two more lumps and removed them. I brought him home last night. He is recuperating. It cost an awful lot of money that is going to make the next few months a struggle but if he pulls through and there is no more cancer then it is worth it.

Unfortunately my younger dog is continually growling at him and even snapped at him. Then the next minute he is lying next to him with his head resting on Pullo's back. I can't work out what is going on with Oscar, the ginger.

I hope to be back posting to the websites and the account more regularly going forward.

Many Blessings
