You have to go on websites - and login there where your website shows.
Then you be redirected to wordpress and you can choose customise on the menu on the left.

Hi Aidan, I also have a website with an outdoor niche (trail running) and I have tried quite a few themes over the past 12 months.
I have settled on the GeneratePress theme, not because it is fancy, but the fact it is clean and easy to use.
You can upgrade to a pro version which is fairly cheap to do.
I use it for all my sites now and I think I will be sticking with it from now on.
Use it alongside something like Elementor and I think you will find it to be customizable enough for your needs.
