Yearly Membership!

Even though i am a guy that likes to save money, i really do not like the crowds at boxing day sales or the fairly new 'black friday sales' that are reaching new heights here in Alberta. Well, i just made my first black Friday purchase and nobody even bumped into me or cut in the lineup to get ahead of me.

I have been a WA member since July 2017, i even paused my certification training in September to build my website so that i don't get too far ahead of myself with affiliate links before i have any good content to get people interested in the site. Yes, i was getting a little frustrated in how long it is taking me to get this website moving, then i realized that i may not be paying enough attention to the advice that Kyle repeats now and again - this isn't an instant payday - it takes time and work. I guess it is like Grandma's quilts - i bet the first one took a long time with many re-do's and a few 'what did i do wrong there?' moments. So what makes the process faster? What makes it a success? Time and work!

With that in mind, I will continue to proceed with the training hare at WA. I will read the comments written by my fellow WA community members, I will watch the weekly training put on by Jay (usually the replays - being a dad is still #1, Friday is hockey for my son). Of course i look forward to hearing the words 'Hi, I'm Kyle with Wealthy Affiliate', because i know when i hear it, i am about to say 'I never would have thought of that!' Yes, i am still excited to learn about something that has nothing to do with the oil and gas sector! After 20+ years in the oil and gas it is time to stretch the brain in other directions.

To Kyle and Carson, i say Thank-You BOTH! Thank you for putting this all together. Thank-you for making it into such a great community to be a part of.

So, other that the date, why do i mention 'black Friday sales'? Ya, you guessed it, i purchase a Yearly Membership, about 10 minutes ago - and it feels gooooood.
