A leap of faith

I'm pretty sure that everyone has experienced a pivotal point in life that has shaped them into who they are today.

That pivotal point may be due to many reasons, some for the sake of improving their lives that they were living which might be resulting in a deterioration of their health (mentally, physically or both). Some might have changed for the better just because they feel that they wanted to provide the best for their loved ones. Either way, I truly respect their decision, bravery and motivation which is very inspiring to me and those who knows that they have to do something but lack the drive to act.

For me, realising that by working almost 12 hours almost every single day as an aviation technician just to get a little extra cash to enjoy the little things in life during my free time for the rest of my life isn't what I'll get to do. Eventually I'll burn out quickly without a doubt and mind you that I'm turning 25 this year but I already feel as though I'm already twice my age.

i knew that this was not what I was meant to do. There was more to life than what has been hardwired into me since young which is to work until the ripe age of 65 and retiring, provided that I'll ever get to live that long to enjoy the fruits of my hard labour. Life expectancy nowadays isn't that what people in the past generations experienced and its somewhat depressing to be living a short life.

The future me might thank the present-day me for deciding to improve my old ways and start living life the way I want it instead of living life as what has been 'dictated'. I want to be my own boss, working at my own pace, my hardwork will be a reflection of the rewards that I'll get at the end of the day.

There was a saying that I heard and quote, "If you move and use up your energy such as doing hard labour for something that you find rewarding, you deserve to be hungry and enjoy the food that you eat at the end of the day".

It struck me in the head like a wake up call to that whatever I've been doing was more of a burden rather than a blessing and I constantly asked myself, "Do I really want to live like this? Will my old self be proud of what I've achieved in life which is practically nothing?" I gave myself a resounding "NO!" and made the decision to self-improve by being open-minded and less skeptical on what technology has to offer. That was when I discovered Ecommerce (Drop ship & Service arbitrage) and then Affiliate Marketing.

All 3 of these was an eye opener for me as it was something that I've never thought would be possible to start making income while working in the comfort my home and at any time but what it takes is perserverance and dedication which has been my cup of tea because its Challenging! Constantly challenging myself to be a better individual than I was a few hours ago.

Having stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliates by accident, I felt like I've found a new home and a new calling and Im not looking back anytime soon. Could it be fate that brought me here? Maybe. But what I know is that I'll never give up to hard and succeed in life!
