Whether you are a president of a country, a king or holding any ad ministerial post where people look up to you for decision, you are a leader.

Being a leader is not an easy task as the decisions you make will affect hundreds, thousands if not millions of lives positively or negatively.

What defines a leader

What defines a leader is the ability of the leader to live up to the expectation of those he is leading. Many leaders fail to understand the deference between being a leader and being a ruler. A true leader is a servant to the people. What do I mean here to be a good leader you need to serve you will be a servant. The people are always the true masters but what happens in real life is different. Leaders today turn to masters instead of servants. People put leaders in the positions they find themselves but after these leaders assume those positions they turn to be the masters and the people the servant. Here is the question of where these leaders have the money the used to live luxurious lives? The answer is simple from the people. The people are the ones who feed them and cloth them but, these leaders turn to make decisions that don't benefit the people and in most cases kill the people when they ask for what rightfully belongs to them.

Who is a true leader?

A true leader is that one who care less about his/herself but takes ever affair of the people seriously. Good leaders must be ready to listen to his people. A good leader don't give commands they take orders from the people the lead. A true leader must be tolerant, perseverance and self-conscious. He/she must be ready to answer and give account to the people he leads. This therefore means that the people have a duty to call these leaders to book when they are not acting to the demands of the people.
