Dear Diary.... "What if I decided to change my life"
The reason for this blog is to document my success rate in Wealthy Affiliate.
But.... First of all,
My name is Andy, I'm a chef. I've been cooking for almost 8 years. Recently, not too long ago I wanted to change my path in life. For most many chefs the problem is always not having a life. Cooking is serious work, involving long hours. I love my work and I love my free time. Unfortunately, the ratio of work and free time isn't balanced. I suffered many years in that regard. But all of my profession isn't negative. Cooking is an art and being artistic is rewarding by nature. Therefore, I felt quite privileged having creativity as my line of work.
But now things have changed. My life feels like it needs to evolve into a more dynamic lifestyle. While the cooking profession does offer some dynamic options, I feel stagnant at times doing the same things for a long period of time. What I mean by this is quite simple. I want to have a full life. Full meaning happiness, challenges, ups, downs, hard work, innovation, and creativity. Those adjectives are all so ambiguous I know, but it can relate to anyone I'm sure. I want the freedom to feel those adjectives. I cannot feel them working 9am-12am. In short, I don't wanna work long hours just to make a living. In life, to be bound by society's demands is in fact slavery. You're only a slave if you abide to the things that bind you. I think I want to stop being a slave and create my own freedom. I started asking questions like "What if I decided to change my life?".
Eventually, when reasoning was defeated, clarity became MORE clear. What a weird way of working. Honestly, our own reasoning binds us to be ignorant. We're all bound by the truth that aren't even true at all. So to sum it all up, I decided to start my adventure. I want to quit what I've been doing for almost 8 years. What a decision. But I'm not afraid....anymore. I'm excited to be part of this community. After researching for two weeks about online opportunities, I landed here. I was looking for a humble and honest presence and I felt that here. Thank you everyone for creating this wonderful environment. My short term goals within Wealthy Affiliate are:
1 - To create a sale in 60 day period.
2 - To understand the basics and then rinse and repeat.
From my understanding, my goals are actually quite conservative; or may even be vague...? But I feel that I don't want to aim too high. I want to be realistic since I am quite new to this. I would like everyone's support. Thanks in the future for everyone's help. I know I'm gonna need it!

Andy, there are so many of us who are beginners here that you can feel right at home. As you take the classes and do the work your goals will increase. At the beginning even the internet marketing process is work intensive. However, the idea of residual income is very real and then time away becomes more available. Wishing you great success!
Thank you for the kind words. I will work hard to create the residual, but it will definitely be a long time for now I'm sure.
