Feeling Overwhelmed by all the information?

No worries my friend.The purpose of this post is to help give you a course of direction in this crazy world of internet marketing.

I would first like you to focus for a brief minute on your past “unaccomplished endeavors” in internet marketing.Think about why you have not succeeded at starting a successful online business.

My guess it’s not because of lack of information.With the internet you can find an answer to just about anything your creative mind can think about.Your past “lack of success” with internet marketing is not your fault.It’s more about information overload and not having the help to sort out all the nuts and bolts.

The focus of my website is to guide you to Wealthy Affiliate which with teach you everything you need to know about starting a successful online business.Learn more about Wealth Affiliate HERE.Like I stated before, it’s not always about INFORMATION but more about WHAT TO DO WITH THAT INFORMATION.

This guide is geared more towards the users of Wealthy Affiliate but can be utilized by just about anybody interested in internet marketing.

First, you need to establish 1 or 2 mentors that you can rely on for guidance and support on your personal goals.These mentors should have similar interest and goals as you.Or at least be involved in the same general business field as you.Don’t seek a mechanic as a mentor if you want to be a beautician.This should be obvious!

Second, you need to set some goals and a plan of action.I mean, what do you really want to accomplish by having a business online.Is it to make more money, spend more time with family, to have financial freedom?Whatever it is right it down and put it somewhere you will see on a regular basis.

Third, don’t try to focus on all the training Wealthy Affiliate has to offer all at once.You need to realize right now that Wealthy Affiliate is not a get rich quick program.You need to “Learn to Earn”.Do yourself a favor and put the goals related to money on hold for at least 2-3 months.Give yourself some time to focus on learning the business of internet marketing first.Learn the basics first then you can move into monetizing your site.

Fourth, establish set times to spend breaking down the lessons one by one.This is not a race!Spend as much time as you need to learn each lesson.Don’t skip and don’t rush.The more time you put into this now the more you will get out of it later.If you need a break take a break.Again, this is not a race.

Fifth, when you first start Wealthy Affiliate you will need to decide what path you want to head down.You have two choices.You can start a niche in any field you have a passion or strong interest in or you can choose to go the route of affiliate marketing and promote Wealthy Affiliate.Doesn’t really matter both can be very profitable.You just have to decide what path best fits your personality and interest.Keep this in mind. You are going to be creating content for your website.If your website topic has very little interest to you then how are you every going to stay motivated to keep writing content.Wealthy Affiliate will help you out with a niche and website creation.

Sixth, now that you have a website you will need to take some time and research different themes in Word Press.Each theme has advantages and disadvantages. Only way to learn is to spend time looking and viewing how your content looks in each theme.This is a very important step.Always remember that the visitor to your site has to find value in your site and it also has to be visually appealing to them as well.If you site is any eye sore nobody with even bother reading your content.

Seventh, start adding relative content to your site.All your content has to be related to each other.If your website is about Military Veterans then don’t post content or ads about baby seats or sporting events.If you’re a member of Wealthy Affiliate you will be able to find a plethora of ideas for content in the classrooms and in the training provided.Unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on ad space your website will never reach top Google listings without good unique content.You don’t have to be a literary genius to type out creative content.Just a little practice.The more you write the better your content will be.Your brain has an instinctive way to grow and learn if you feed it by keeping it active.Creating content is going to be an ongoing process in your internet business.Think of your site as a library of knowledge for one main subject.As long as you continue your online business you will be adding more and more books to your library. This is called an Authority site.When a visitor comes to your site you want them to see you as an Authority for whatever your site is about.

Eighth, now it’s time to start thinking about how you are going to be monetizing your site.In other words how is your site going to make you money?There are several ways to make your site profitable.Wealthy Affiliate has lessons on monetization also.I will not go in much detail on monetization here because that is another post by itself.

Ninth, traffic and website conversions will be an ongoing process as well.You could be selling the most interesting and popular products available but without traffic to your site your site becomes worthless.Traffic and website conversion is also a whole lesson in itself.Once again Wealthy Affiliate has you covered.Training galore at your fingertips.
