I was a little bit tired but fighting but this was my most awaited moment. As I sat in the bus, I started to imagine what might happen. Then, familiar excitement hit me. This was what I am waiting for. We're getting nearer. I could see the lights and the smiles of the people. I had enough rest and I was ready to battle with the people of my age. I was ready to get wet; to reach the sky high, and to make unforgettable memories.

We arrived in our last destination, Enchanted Kingdom, where magic lives forever. It's 2:30 in the afternoon when we entered the Disney Land of the Philippines. I thought we’re not gonna make it because of the heavy traffic.

I was excited and hoping to forget personal issues in life, even for a while. Eric, my classmate, and I got separated from others because they want to ride at Anchor’s Away, and we didn’t. We both refused to ride because we couldn't keep up with the swing of the big arc in the air. I started to imagine my soul separating from my body. But as we watched our classmates swung by the arc, they keep shouting joyously. It was really fun as we watched them but it’s a no for us. We both have fear of heights. I was easily frightened when my feet keep off on the ground.

Eric and I hurriedly went to Jungle Log, instead, where a few people fall in line. I was ready to get wet in this ride and hopefully to enjoy it very well. As we got on high place of log before going down to water and get splash of it on our clothes and body, I began to shake and have difficulty in breathing. I closed my eyes and then shouted. We became wet by the water. We next tried Rio Grande. Eric said to me, "be ready to get soak again. It’s not like Jungle Log." And yes, I was soaked in water again. I got my jogging pants and t-shirt wet. We laughed and enjoyed it. There’s a big machine where you can put yourself in and to dry your clothes for a hundred and fifty pesos. It is not really effective. So, we decided to ride the Flying Fiesta. I cried and cursed Eric because I could barely breathe. After all I really enjoyed it, overcame it, and released tension through shouting.

My last ride was the Roller Skater. It was fun and very fast. We walked and searched for others and joined to them. We ate ice cream in the ice cream store in EK and also hamburger for dinner before going back to bus. Enchanted Kingdom helped me to appreciate happiness. It is a perfect place to release sorrow where you can enjoy and forget your problem. For a moment I realized how I was in love with my classmates. We bond together and get along. This is indeed is a place where magic lives forever and can transform your sadness into happiness.

What a wonderful POST!

And lots of excitement! I'm glad that you visited the Enchanted Kingdom here in the Philippines. I was there long ago when my son was in grade school.

It was a field trip, and we are 3 buses altogether. I enjoyed reading all your visits and rides, so enjoying and a lot of fun.

I recalled how excited my son and my niece at that time too. I wonder how old are you now?

Thank you for sharing, and you did a good job.

Best wishes and more power to you.
Thanks,
Joyce
