Interesting Referral Stats for Wealthy Affiliate
I've been looking through the referrals I've made to Wealthy Affiliates and see some interesting things.
1) Of the 37 people I've referred so far, 8 have uploaded a picture to their profile
2) Of those 8, only 4 are pictures of a real person
3) The ONLY people of those 37 who have got more than 3 followers (which is the default amount) are the 8 who have uploaded a profile picture.
4) The 4 who have uploaded pictures of real people do not have any more of less followers than the 4 who have put up random pictures (which surprises me a bit - I thought a real photo would help generate more followers)
5) None of the members are premium members yet although with only 8 having confirmed with real profile pictures I assume the quoted 1 in 12 becoming premium members is going to be true for me too

That is interesting. Still hard to understand how so many people can let this opportunity pass them by, though. I suppose some just are not at a point in their lives to commit to working on this seriously.
It will be interesting to see how the stats change with a larger sample. It would seem that a real picture would indicate a more serious referral, so I would be interested to see comparisons of the involvement level of those with and without real pictures.
I gave up checking the stats about a month back as they seemed a little 'out' at best. Check this out...

I think there are a lot of false or accidental clicks involved with the stats here. It'll be interesting to see other's experiences with them...
