Created equal or evolved to equality
EQUALLY VALUED
The 16th. President of The United States of America, Abraham Lincoln stated in his Gettysburg Address speech on Nov.19, 1863 that "All men are created equal", that of course is a false statement and can be disproved or given a strong source of opposition by virtuously any one with any common sense, and should had been stated "All men are created to treat one another as equals." because it is easy to view something with a closed mind and just adopt these words as truth but you cannot continue to profess the same incorrect words once they have been proved to be inaccurate numerous times without appearing to be delusional or just a really naive individual.WE ARE
All men are not created equal. When is the creation process? Depending on who you are and your personal beliefs, being spiritual or scientific, the same idea remains the same, Purpose or Accidental, Created or Evolved, it stays the same, we are not all brought into this world equal. My personal belief is that of creation and that a Higher Power created us all, but I as well believe in the Theory of Evolution which has been accepted by most whom choose to accept reality and have open minds enough to at least view evidence from many years of research that breaks down the process of how Evolution came to be.
In the same aspect it is difficult to find scientists that are willing to entertain the idea of God and the story of Creation. Critical thinking and open minds, willing and able to set aside one's bias towards one's own views long enough to honestly hear and view a perspective other than one's own through another's eyes is how you can truly decide if what you have been taught is truly yours or one you have been programmed to believe, if this is true after an honest examination of another's belief, then it can be considered your true belief, decided upon by your own exploration, activities and experiences.
Now, back to my beliefs. I was raised an only child by a single mother like a large majority of inner city kids are. I am bi-racial and I had a serious stuttering problem. I was not accepted at school by white kids or black kids so I stayed to myself and read books constantly and lived my life through other's stories. My favorite book when I was very young was My Book of Bible Stories and once I had read it about a million times I started with the real deal and at five years of age had read the Bible from cover to cover. I didn't always comprehend everything so I asked about things to whomever I could find that would tell me.
I could say the Chapters of the Bible by heart and knew all the stories by five, so I consider this now after I grew and did more research and can comprehend things better to now be my honest belief, but wait, what about the honest non bias look at another's view point, say Evolution? Well I did and that is my belief as well. How do you do that? It's one way or the other, right? Wrong. I am one of very few believers of both Evolution and Creation and it is so simple to understand yet some refuse to do so,
God created us with limitless abilities and blessed us all with our own gifts, some greater than others for their specific purposes in life but as people we are created with the same equal value, but not all with the same equal abilities, but we have within us all the power to develop abilities we were not created with, thus by evolving by necessity or desire. See how I bring it together? But lets go a bit deeper and then I am done 'cause I go on and on, God gave us all such powerful minds that in my opinion and belief that Man has simply put, discovered God's methods and the process of Creation and named it Evolution, So I end by saying No we are not all created equal but created with equal value and abilities to evolve into the creation of our selves. Nothing is impossible, live life, seek knowledge, love God and each other and treat the next man as your equal. Good night.

I believe that I am no better or worse than anybody else. We all have our individual talents for a reason. But because my abilities at somethings are stronger than someone else's abilities at the same thing, does not make me a better or superior person. We were created to be equal....not to look down on others for any reason...
I wasn't saying that at all by saying that we are not created equal. I am saying the statement is not a fact if you view it as just a statement and not a mental concept. I know what Abraham Lincoln was trying to convey with the words and it was a great thought or a belief of his but as a philosopher and a critical thinker, I just enjoy the examination and breaking down different ideas or statements and view them from all aspects possible beginning with FACT as a starting point and please don't think that I am knocking the man or talking negatively of his words or his intentions, nor do I feel I am greater than any one else because I know that as my value is concerned to God we are all equal but in life you have to admit there are individuals that have been created far superior to others, it shows in genetics and in mind capacity and natural skills that come effortlessly. I am only pointing out things that I observe on my journey through life and things that I find that intrigue me and cause me to think deeply and then only share my opinion and I do not claim to be the final authority on any subject, I just know that I have great understanding of things because of my ability to view things from a non bias outlook and do not fear allowing myself to consider another perspective to see how and why others may have come about to believe what they do. I agree with you about never looking down upon someone as well except for one exception, to give them a hand up.
Your blog is definitely thought provoking! I did not think that you were talking negatively about Lincoln. You make good points that should make people think. I think this blog could open up a great, positive conversation here at WA.
Thank you, I was scared that I gave the impression that I was trying to say that I was created superior and that's what I meant by all men not being created equal, and I was like I must look like a major jerk, but thank you for clearing it up for me. See my niche is in self -help and developing positive self images and self esteem, I plan to integrate some great programs by Zig Ziggler. and Tony Robbins and other self help and motivational speakers. Plus I have a ton of free content I am going to be adding here real soon. Thank you again for the compliment and the follow. Have a great day.
