A Fortune 100 Company Knocked At My Door!

I have just read a new training "How to Earn Money Writing Online" by one of our beloved WA members Robert (boomergp08)

The training is easy to follow and loaded with lots of juicy info. I totally agree with him in every points he made.
Diversifying, and creating multiple income streams are important to internet entrepreneurs for long term success.
I would like to share with you all what happened to me when I just made a small move in that direction.
Are You Sitting Down?
I'm very close to getting hired by a Fortune 100 company.
I will be involved in the following tasks if I'm hired:
- Working from home doing online research - I learnt it Here!
- Writing and editing contents - I learnt it Here!
- SEO - I learnt it Here !
- Full time Pay
- Long term contract:)
- Working at my Pace
Meaning: What we are learning, and learnt at WA is of Great Value!
What Happened?
I received an invite to a job interview from one of Fortune 100 company in silicon valley 3 days ago, just 5 days after putting up my profile on one of the websites for freelance (my profile is still incomplete! Yes, even now).
The job involves internet research, content creation and editing, etc. And I got short listed yesterday. A 20 minutes skype chat has also been scheduled tomorrow morning 9.00am to discuss the opportunity further. I was told in an email that they considered I was very well qualified, so the Skype chat is basically for finalising the pay rate, answering any questions I might have.
My New Plan
If I'm selected, I'll work for the company online from home for 12-24 months. I'll be still working on my own websites, post regularly but only in more relaxed way. And I start thinking of upgrading to jaaxy Enterprise to take advantage of its turbo power. I may be able to start a paid campaign for my new site...
I did not expect this, seriously. But I'm so pleased that I made my first move.
Opportunies are everywhere.
Go out to get them or at least put yourself out there, be visible, the opportunity may just knock at your door! And that just happened to me:).
You Just Need to Be Ready when opportunity comes around!

Wow... And I just turned down. My beloved IBM $118K. DBA position because I am all In in my company. .. there are not a lot of people with my skill set... They will make another offer...which I will turn down
Good for you. The position offered to me is a bit different. I will be doing what I have already started doing and enjoy doing - by working online from the comfort of my home, working when I want instead of 9 - 5. It fits in my future plan nicely. I might just be able to polish up my online skills more.

My wife calls it working in your underwear. .. but we have 24 hour on c all shifts. it also requires professional certification. I like the fact of being able to work at home... But I was always working for IBM now I work for me... I just don't want to do DBA a stuff anymore. if I just keep what I'm doing I'll be back soon ten thousand dollars a month plus. they have called me twice a year every year since my strokes.
Your wife is so right. Yes, I do happen to have a right professional qualification. Now I only accept online opportunities.
