I Have No Time

Maybe it happened to you to wish there was more than 24 hours in a day so you can do more things You think you cannot accomplish everything you have to do and you find yourself procrastinating

and putting things off until another day or time.

BTW, do you have time to read this post?

Why do people sit up so late, or, more rarely, get up so early? Not because the day is not long enough, but because they have no time in the day to themselves. (Florence Nightingale)

Steve jobs in a wall-street journal forum once said:

…We say “I don’t have time” when life gets busy or when we don’t want to feel guilty about skipping something:

  • If we don’t have enough time to work out, it’s easier for us to be okay with wheezing after a flight of stairs.
  • If we don’t have enough time to prepare healthy meals, it’s easier to accept our next unhealthy meal.
  • If we don’t have enough time to clean the house, it’s easier to accept living in filth.
  • If we don’t have time to apply for new jobs and make new connections, it’s easier to accept staying in a dead-end job.

It is not true that we don’t have time. We do have time if we know how to spend the 24 hours of the day. We should try to make the most of them by minimizing the things that aren’t important to make room for the things that are.

Time is our most precious resource.

Time is money

Have you ever thought about where do you spend your time?

You will be surprised if you track your time and see how much time you spend on the computer, watching TV, etc.

You spend a big part of the day doing such trivial things

When you realize that, suddenly the 10 hours of TV each week become less important. The late nights on Facebook and Netflix become more apparent and hopefully you will stop saying I I don't’thave time and instead say “it’s not a priority.”

We find the time for what we want to do most.

For some of us, that’s working out. For others, that’s building our business. Maybe it’s browsing the internet for two hours each night. And all of those are fine choices! But each choice comes with a price.

If you want to stop staying I have no time here is what you should do:

1. Change your limiting beliefs Watch your thoughts, they become words, watch your words, they become actions

2. Focus on what is truly essential

When we make decisions and prioritize your work think in terms of what’s crucial and urgent and what isn’t as important or pressing

3. Meditate Our mind jumps all the time from here to there. Like a monkey in a cage. The Buddhists call it the monkey mind. You have to learn is to find your balance by introducing mindful moments.

I hopoe you had time to read to this point.

Love and Bliss

Thank you for another interesting post Adel. I've accepted that there will never be enough time, in fact my belief is that if you feel that you have spare time then you are living a wasteful life.

We have to prioritize our tasks and maximize the return on our time, leveraging the WA opportunity is one such way to utilize time effectively.

Les

I am glad you liked the post Les
I use to spend my spare time watching brain numbing programs on TV then I ditched my TV in 2011 when I realized I was wasting my time and I never looked back.
I really don't miss it.
Time is precious and when it passes, it passes. We can not get it back

You have just caught me at a moment when I need to get back to completing my latest blog post for my website. Thanks for sharing and now for action and no more delaying. It's time to return to W. A.

You are welcome Alan

Thanks Adel,
Your point 2, is the way I have helped get things done in the time I have available (24 hrs). If I don’t write them down, I will surely miss doing something. Yesterday I wrote on my list for Michelle to pick up snow blower tire. She forgot, she didn’t have a list. So it’s on my list again today.
Great reminder.

Thank you my friends.

Good solid advice, I have lots of ideas and plans, and not enough time to implement them all, but today I am going to prepare a list and stick to it I am going to write 2 blogs for a site, that I haven’t worked on for about 2 weeks and write a blog for a site I have not added to since June this year. I am also going to carry on with my training and shoot a. Video and upload to YouTube. There is 9 hours left today. I will give you an update on what I actually achieve after the end of today.

Thank you Rayn,
I am glad you liked the post and I hope you achieved your targets for the day

Hi Adel, Many words of wisdom and probably the biggest obstacle for lack of success online. I really enjoyed reading your article

Thank you Gary,
I am glad you enjoyed the post

I am always saying there needs to be more than 24 hrs in a day. As much as I would dislike saying it, I was a bad time manager.
After a while I had to think what I was doing with the time I had. I was not being a good manager of time.
Now that I have started to manage my time more appropriately, 24 hours seems normal again.
Thanks for sharing this. Time is money and if you are wasting time you are wasting money.

Thank you Timm for sharing your thoughts about time
we all have the same number of hours in the day but we spend them in a different ways and actually 24 hours is more than enough if we focus only in the essentials
