The goal of all Affiliate Marketers when they start an Affiliate Marketing Business is to achieve success. Most of them start with the very very very wrong impression that success can be achieved overnight and with very little effort. It requires hard word and dedication. Unfortunately it is not so and mistakes made by them further complicate matters with failure looming large in the horizon.

Let's dive into the 5 major mistakes that are made:

1. We choose a product because it generates high comission. We should research the product and the niche and see if there is a great need for it and also if it would generate reasonably good comissions for your efforts.

2. Promoting 2, 3 or more offers at the same time. This would confuse your website vistors. It is wis to concentrate on one product or one niche affiliate program and have other good affiliate programs that may be of interest to your website vistors. Extra programs mean more income.

3. Many individuals jump into affiliate marketing with no marketing experience. Their perception is that if theyy have a website and an affiliate product, money would start rolling in. This is very far from the truth. We must equip ourselves with some knowledge and skills (hence we are in WA....LOL) before you start.

4. Afilliate products can be promoted without a website. Some marketers out there say this but is is so far from the truth. To look professional and reap the benefits a website is needed.

5. Giving up early. This is one of the biggest mistakes I see everyday. Many give up after putting a lot of time and effort often being disappointed that they are not making money from their business. Remember its a business and it takes time to build. Rome was not built in one day. ALWAYS remain motivated to reach your goal.

Everyone makes mistakes and Affiliate Marketers are no exception. What is important is that the earlier you learn to avoid making Affiliate Marketing Mistakes, the sooner you will be able to achieve your goal as a successful affiliate marketer and start making money.
