My site is getting bigger
I'm still focused on producing content. Everything I'm reading leads me to believe that my sole focus right now should be on not only creating more content, but getting better at writing content. So that's what I'm trying to do.
I just can't help but to wonder, how long should it take me to write a single post? I'm averaging 2 to 3 hours. This seems like a long time, but laying out a coherent post that flows well and covers the subject at hand is really time consuming for me.
The post I made this morning took just over 3 hours to write. It ended up being just shy of 2000 words. Maybe I'm making them too long? I could break them up, which I was considering with this one, but to adequately cover the keyword for this post, it's hard to find a way to break it into more posts.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts, not just for the comments I may receive from other helpful WA members, but also as a way to track my progress and mindset.

I have been at this for years Adam and I still spend that much time creating content for my websites. Quality takes time. But remember, write it once and it lives on to make money for years!
You may come back and update it here and there, but don't rush it. Some people may be better at cranking out coherent content quickly. I certainly am not, but that's okay.
You want stuff on your website that people want to stay and read, so don't worry about how long it takes just now. Just right engaging and quality content that will help your readers.
The rest will come!
Thank you for the reply. That's good news, I was starting to wonder if I'm just slow at writing, but you make a good point. It's irrelevant because once it's written it will live on for years.
Thanks again!
