Hello WA Friends,

I have been MIA for a a bit due to some personal family matters. But I am back missed you guy's & I have been work

I did it help traffic

Hello Pippys.

Thank you for your reply, so you are in the WA Boot camp as well? So your saying you used FB as a means to draw traffic to your website before any sales or after the fact? Just want to make sure I am understanding you correctly. :)

Thank you.

No I have it tied into my niche site. I want to get that site up and running smoothly and then I'm going to build a W8 boot camp site but I will do the same thing for that and tied into a Facebook page. Any advertising is good appetizing the more you do the more chances you have to get traffic I just found out today that I got ranked on the first page in Google search and that come from my Google Plus account I got two different topics on the first page.

OK I see make sense wow that's good incite thank you for your feed back I appreciate the tips.

Single Mom Profits sounds brandable. I think you would be fine with a Facebook page.

But...

Concentrate on building out your website FIRST and then you can always worry about a Facebook page when your website starts performing well (traffic & first sale).

HI Jay Gumbs,

How have you been? Hope all is well :)

Thank you for your feedback, but that is why I was trying to use FB for traffic so I can make first sale, I am getting idea's from people how would you suggest I get traffic so I can work on that first sale without using FB as a means of drawing traffic?

I am building out My Website I am putting the finishing touches on my first post I just have not published yet.

I'm doing great Angela.

I see that you haven't published your first post yet. That is the problem. You don't have traffic because you don't have anything on your site as yet to attract visitors.

My advice stands. Build out your website first - when you've published a good bit of articles, you'll begin to see some good traffic. Then you can add Facebook which will work along with your site to bring you even more traffic.

In other words forget about Facebook for now and work on building YOUR business and brand through your website. Your Facebook audience will be more receptive to your brand if you already have an established website.

Hello Jay,

Thank you for your feed back I have started it I am just putting the finishing touches I just have not published yet but thank you. I was watching week one in building a FB fan page.

When I heard Jay who developed the training. He mentioned If you are in the WA Boot camp affiliate & you have a website, blogs, and a pic & your personal blogs don't have branding associated to it then what is a point of building a FB Fan page which concerned Me of all the effort I am doing behind the scenes on My webpage.

Just wanted to make sure Me being in WA Boot camp affiliate & My website was brand able before I kept moving forward.

P.S. What Does Brand threw My website Mean?

* Does That mean mention My website threw My website?

You have to read the whole sentence to get the context ie. work on building your brand through your website. Or work on building your brand by building out your website so that it gets more popular.

Just a suggestion on my part, only if your website has enough traffic to warrant a FB Fan Page. Just my point of view.

Hi Bigacer,

Thank you for your quick feedback. That's a good point but that being said how else can I draw traffic to My website? As that's what I was going to use FB for? Any other Idea's on drawing traffic to My website?

You can use reddit.com to get your message out or use Google + to post and get people coming into you website. Just a few suggestions. If you are banking on FB then I would go ahead and take the plunge sooner rather than later. Hope this helps.

Thank you Bigacre,

Is Reddit.com a form of promoting your website or products? do you promote WA affiliate's or market your own niche on your website or both just curious how you got started on drawing traffic to your website if you promote WA or not just too get My feet wet. Thank you on all your valuable info :) much appreciated.

I place my blog posts on there and then hit up ping o matic. It seems to get the word out and I have even had several hit in Googles first page. But that is just me.

Oh OK thank you for your incite I appreciate it.

when I installed this plug in it said did not test out OK I received the following info above. I need technical support please on this matter. I Have tried contacting support

Hey there, its ok to make some mistakes along the way. It's a learning process right? I've learned to follow the training and try to maintain a step-by-step approach as tempting as it is to jump ahead.

Good luck on your continued journey!

WP Super Cache is something you don't need. Hosting here is very good so I don't think it's necesarry to have that plugin. It can cause bugs to your webpage and actually slow it down. Remove the plugin and try to keep up to 5 plugins at your webpage.

Hello Max,

Thank you for your feed back I have come to realize this thank you I am learning from my mistakes as I go. WP Super cash i saw on YouTube lesson learned. Thank god Support has fixed this issue & now I have 3 plug ins at this time. So Don't ever install anymore plug ins ever? just 3 & if more plug ins which are safe to install that are needed?

You can install more than 5 plugins, there are no restrictions. But more than 5 plugins MAY cause your website to load slowly. It is recommended to keep up to 5 plugins.

Oh OK I see yea when I installed the WP Super cash It automatically installed more on there so diffidently went over 5 when I only installed 1 plug in crazy how that happen.

Just delete it and you will have no problems.

Thank you Support & I delete them thank you.

You don't need Wordpress Super Cache if you don't know what it does. As a matter of fact, with Site Rubix hosting you don't need this plugin at all.

If your theme needs that many plugins to work, your simplest option would be to choose another theme.

I recommend deactivating and deleting the plugin files. Keep it simple at this stage in your web building experience and you'll have less headaches.

Lol Thank you for your feed back I am a newbie & made a mistake but it's OK I'm learning. Thank you for your great feed back. Less headaches is my goal.

Yes Angela newbie mistakes make you learn faster. We were all newbies once and made our share of mistakes. Have a great weekend.

Many of these plugins contain lots of bugs and vulnerabilities. The support will definitely get back to you and help you if you do have any issues, but the WP supercache plugin is something that you don't need and it is quite redundant with the hosting service you have (which actually creates far more efficiencies than any sort of plugin can offer behind the scenes).

So my suggestions, delete the supercache plugin. It can do more harm than good and you don't need it.

True. I remember using the WP Super Cache plugin a long time ago on a site and the last time I used it before deleting it was when I heard that it had a backdoor vulnerability that allowed hackers to get into your website. Never used it again.

Yeah, it has been an ongoing issue.

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for your incite & feed back yes the Support did happen to get back to me & they mentioned they disabled the wp super cash & the other plug ins that came along with it. And they said I currently have 3 plug ins at this time.

But When I go look at my website I still see the following below Does this mean that wp cash is still there along with the other plug ins? It says I have 7 items still even after support said they disabled them:

Hello My WA Friends hope everyone is doing well :)

I have a couple questions in need of answers your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. I am fine coming some la

If you go into your banners section (click on the aeroplane at the top of the page) this image is actually available as an affiliate banner. So you simply paste in the code wherever you want to place it (use the text side of your Wordpress editor) and then people can click on it.

This isn't duplicate content either which solves your other problem.

Hello,

Thank you so much I really appreciate your help as thanks to you I figured it out. lol :) Thank you for your quick feed back.

Images are more or less empty space for search engines, they will see only image attributes. So no worry about this.

As for the rest, there is Kyle's training in Certification Courses about adding links to images. Tons of tutorials are available, just search above. The same for banners.

Thank you For your assistance in this matter. :) also your prompt feed back.

Hello WA Friends,

Reason for My question today on this topic is because I was watching a YouTube video and this gentleman was talking about how he was in one of top ranki

You can make money with amazon. When you sign up for amazon associates, for each product you want to advertise, you will be given a link and you place that link on your website and when someone buy you earn a commission.

Thank you I appreciate your Insight it definitely cleared up some confusion.

You Welcome, No problem at all!

It seems hard in the beginning, but I think when you get the hang of it,it will work out great in the end.Get many visitors as you can and after a few months, you will have progress for sure.

Thank you very much for your feedback I appreciate it yes nothing worth having is ever easy but definitely worth it.

To answer the question in your title: yes you can. This is all about big numbers. Conversion rate of 5% is what you could call great. So to make good income there must be many visitors.

The meaning of 'many': think about thousands per day at your site.

You have many people at WA who make very good income with Amazon, so it is doable but painfully difficult and slow.

Thank you very much for your Insight well it's good to know that people here are having success at Amazon. I guess when I was watching this YouTube video this guy had me confused after I watched it I just wanted to run it by a few wa friends.

He's only making $200/m. There are people here on WA that are making way more as an Amazon affiliate. There's one guy I know who's doing $10,000/m and he gained that knowledge through WA.

So you can make money with Amazon. You start at 4% commission but as you sell more you can move all the way up to 10%.

Right I'm with you on that one but he was saying that you have to sell expensive products to get the higher Commission is that true? He also did mention if you sell enough then it goes up like you said in your commission. Yes I also saw success stories WA which is why I was confused by this guy's video and just wanted some people's feedback on here.

That's why I was also confused because he said based off his keyword search that his Niche that he was going on which obviously he did not disclose he said that he was in like 1st to 2nd ranking on Google for Amazon. And I was like how is he making only 200 a month which is why I want to discuss with people here at wa

Doesn't matter what you sell - it could be an item for $1. You sell 7 of those on each commission tier and you'll get the higher commission. What the guy was probably saying is that it pays more for your efforts if you choose to sell more expensive products. For example if you sell a water slide for $1000 then you'll get a $40 commission each time vs. if you sell a kindle book for $10 where you'll only get about 40 cents per book.

He's probably ranking high for a keyword that doesn't get a lot of searches. If this is the case (which it most likely is) then he's doing well to be making $200/month from this one keyword search.

Lets say he's targeting a keyword search that only gets like 100 real views from Google. Not many people are going to be targeting this keyword so he has less competition to rank. He's going to rank #1 and from those 100 visits not everyone is going to buy. However if he's targeting a buyer keyword like say "where to buy xxxxxx online" a lot of those visits will convert so $200 is a realistic amount to get from that little traffic.

Thank you Jay on your feed back on this topic it's much appreciated.

Wow ok good incite i was just curiouse as i was just confused... Cause he was saying everyone builds up hype from amazone that some people make money by promitting amazon to affiliats...

Off-topic I also did hear someone else talking about if you really want to make money as a affiliate at you have to build up your campaign and a minimum of your campaign should be $3,000 to be successful do you know much about that?

They were probably talking about buying ads on Facebook and Google - PPC stuff. If you're building content sites like they teach here in the basic training then this doesn't really apply to you. You can make a lot of money just posting stuff to your website consistently.

Ok i see thank you your feedback was enlightening definitely cleared up some questions thank you.

The only way you can earn money as an affiliate in Amazon is if your visitor click on a banner in your website ,gets redirected to Amazon and buy the product. Then you get the commission.

Right I hear what you're saying. But he was saying that they click on the banner that redirects you to Amazon then if they purchase you get the sale but if they don't buy right then and there and he called it a a Wandering eye syndrome and they go somewhere else and Amazon that you lose the connection and you don't get the sale meaning that it opened up in another browser. So I was confused as to what he was saying I wanted to run it by people in wa?

That sounds weird. If someone goes to Amazon through your website, let's say you send them to buy an Echo. And they decide to not buy the Echo but decides to buy a TV instead, you'll still get the commission. I've never heard of any browser closing and lost connection. Even though the browser closes, the buyer's computer still has the cookie which last 24 hours last time I checked. You'll still get the commission.

I'm wondering if the guy in the video was intentionally trying to confuse you. There are some nasty marketers that do that when they're trying to sell something.
