Scam Alert

As a NEWBIE I decided to become a WA affiliate. Presently I am training in the Affiliate Boot Camp. I really didn't know what I was getting myself into when I took on this position. You see, before I would even consider penning anything, I wanted to do my homework, so I decided to read reviews that others had written. What an eye opener.

It was one of the our members that got me to join WA. I had been scammed unconditionally, repeatedly, almost daily, as I pursued an online business for myself. After being scammed, I read a review by, like I said, a member here. It was a review on one of "My SCAMMERS" and he was brutally truthful. I read a few more, as well as one on the WA and was hooked.

I read other reviews from other "reviewers" and discovered something very disturbing. They really, really did their homework. One person spent over 900 hours on research, he had tremendous graphs and screen shots (I don't even know how to do a screenshot yet), and he even spent $997 and joined, so he really understood that site. I thought that maybe because he was a member that he would have a lot of positive things to say.

No, he listed several cons about the site. He too was blunt and reported what he experienced. I said to myself, "SELF?" How can I top that?. He really had a great deal to write about. I felt very deflated and immediately complained (WHINED) to one of the members. I then thought, maybe I'll read what he wrote about WA. Well, he commenced to trash WA, he had pages and pages of discrepancies listed.

I was shattered, how can this be? I've read many reviews on WA and they were all positive, and they weren't all just written by our members, so I thought, this can't be right. So, I decided to analyze each and every claim that he made. Shocker! Not only did he take things out of context, he lied, yes, he lied. Why would he do that? There had to be a reason. Oh yeah, it was because he had a #1 recommendation. That makes sense.

Well, I know how to fight this, I'll research THEIR #1 choice. Nyuk! Nyuk! And so it began, and I did my homework as well. So, for starters, I signed up for emails and newsletters, I read other reviews that all were consistent with their information. So, what didn't they have that WA did have? Their Facebook community only consisted of approximately 4500 and I noticed that they had 13 posts that day and 90 that month. UH! Gee, I think WA has 13 post a minute? maybe?

So, I did more digging, they only ranked at 58.3/100% on Scam Detector, they ranked 3.4 with TrustPilot, and they weren't even listed at the BBB(Better Business Bureau). So NEWBIES, you know how WA scored? The TrustPilot ranked us at 4.9, the BBB was an A+, and the Scam Detector ranked us at 100%.

All this makes me want to finish my training and finish my website. So, for all the NEWBIES like me, have no fear, WA IS the #1 LEADER.

Hey Alan, I've been run through that whole scenario myself and been scammed by several "programs" I've joined. The one I was a member of just prior to finding WA is actually not a scam, it's a good program but is EXTREMELY expensive, several upsells, etc. That program is called ENTRE Institute, and I did learn a lot and even got set up with the agency that handles my yearly taxes and filing, etc. Another flaw in this program was that much of its training and techniques have to do with using Facebook, which not everyone, (myself included) is able to use.

Just over a year ago, I was about to invest in yet ANOTHER scam, when I found a review of that program by a WA member, which led me to the discovery of Wealthy Affiliate, and knew in a very short time that I had found the absolute best site out there for legitimate training and building a successful online business. WA has a plethora of training on almost any subject you can think of, and ALL of it is available to those who choose to secure a Premium+ membership, which I just paid for my second year, and I'll be a Premium+ member for life, or as long as I'm physically and mentally able to do this kind of work.

Thank you for your post. You've DEFINITELY found the right place! Good luck on your new journey!

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, I too had considered ENTRE Institute but was lacking in funds. When I become successful in WA I might be interested in Digital Landlord or Digital Leasing. One victory at a time though.
