The Journey So Far
I started off on WA incredibly nervous. I've always loved writing but I didn't have any confidence in my ability to build a website, let alone optimize it for SEO. Though I've been a writer for years, "content writing" has always been a scary term for me because I thought I could never figure out how to do it the "right" way.
From day 1 at WA, the people in this community have been overwhelmingly supportive and helplful--I'm so thankful to all of you. I feel like I've gained so much knowledge in the past few weeks and it's given me more and more confidence and excitement about what the future might hold for me here.
I started with a thestorysinger.com as my initial site idea, and although I'd still like to work with that site more in the future, I thought it'd be better to go with a more specific niche that I'm also passionate about, which is researching and writing about how specific foods affect your body in specific kinds of ways. Thus, yourbodyreacts.com was born. :)
I'm passionate about this site because I want to help people optimize their health and happiness, and it's so fun to generate content for it. I'm hoping over the next three months to really beef up the content on this site; I'm hoping to write an average of a blog post a day. In 6 months, I'd love to see the site starting to generate some revenue, possibly through Google adsense or affiliate marketing. I'd also like to be completely done with the certification courses within the next few weeks, which should be totally doable at the rate I've been working.
