It's Friday!
It's Friday! I used to work with a guy when I was working in construction that no matter what day it was would say, " it's almost Friday!" and refer to Thursday as 'Friday's eve.'
Before I used to think this was hilarious, then I realized why he was saying this... That was because the best part of his week was when he wasn't working. I remember waking up and going to work and his positive attitude about how every day was that much closer to the weekend.
Then I began to think. Not that I didn't think before, but I really started to ponder my existence. Questioning if I was really put on this planet to just work and die, was this how the rest of my life would be?
To my surprise shortly after that a deck came down on my back and broke my spine. In that instant I believe whatever higher power that is watching over me was listening to my thoughts and in the most abrupt way possible teach me the error of my thoughts.
This experience really taught me.
Let me explain, in the process of recovering I went through severe stages of depression battling thoughts that seemed to pull me down like I was an anchor dropped at the deepest part of the ocean! I started reading self-help books as I have mentioned 'the secret' in previous posts I also read the book the alchemist.
The Alchemist is a book about the teaching of following your life purpose, and anything that does not serve your life purpose in some way will result horribly.
I in some ways believe that before I wasn't following my life purpose and now I am. I support These beliefs with how much success I have experienced once I started fully pursuing my passion.
I believe that the reason I am on this planet is to be apart of music in some way, and I hereby devote myself fully to it. As I believe everyone should dedicate themselves fully to their dreams!
Thanks for reading!
