Back from Holidays is a great feeling of being refreshed and ready to go however the first few days waking up and forgetting your first appointment then all of a sudden diving out of bed to get there on time this is when we know that we have a passion in what we are doing, I had internet withdrawals from my website, but while away the purpose was to visit another country to get a perspective on Grooming in another country actually it was where I started and to my amazement talking to an East coast farmer who owned Bearded Collies never ever grooms his Dogs well it is not surprising they believe a dog with uncared for dreadlocks is as waterproof as their handlers raincoat what rubbish ! So with a politly Questioned ? I ask from a farmers point of view why would you not brush or clip the mats out of the coat with his answer I replied back to my notes about How Grooming stimulated the hair follicles and releases natural oils back into the hair I pointed out a man with Dreadlocks, and said how long do you think it takes for the inside of his dreads to dry ? quite stunned at my comments of sowing a seed for him to ponder on his defense was he has a 16-year old Bearded Collie and has never touched her coat. I would have liked to have met his working pack but the seed was sowed and we cannot always trust what we give others with Love and what they will do with it.
