Making Progress At Wealthy Affiliate

We in the UK are in lockdown due to Covid19 which for me meant I was not able to go about my business in the offline world and was confined to barracks so to speak.

After a couple of days at home feeling sorry for myself and worrying about the future I gave myself a kick up the backside and decided to look for the opportunity amidst the angst and worry of the uncertain future.

I already had a couple of websites for my offline business hosted here at Wealthy Affiliate so decided it was time to start work on my goal of an online business.

I also decided to start afresh with the training here.

My first day at the computer was the 11th of April 2020 and my WA ranking at the time was 183184. I had never really taken notice of my rank as I was basically just using the hosting platform here for my Flooring business websites.

I received an email this morning regarding a friend here at Wealthy Affiliate acheiving the great milestone of Ambassador, @MelWaller, many Congratulations to Mel for achieving a top 25 position in the ranking here at WA.

This prompted me to take a look at my own ranking here to see if it had improved over the 10 days I had been working on my Wealthy Affiliate business. I was pleasantly surprised !

Now I have a very long way to go reach the top 200 - 100 - 50 and Ambassador level but just seeing "Rank 500" has given me a good feeling that I am doing something right. Now I know ranking here doesn't equate to earning and that ranking in Google and the other search engines is what we all aim for but it is a progress marker and motivational boost.

Onwards and Upwards.
