Images dissapearing from Folders
Hi and Happy New Year to everyone here.
When I come to add images to my WP website I find a lot of my images have dissapeared from their folders.
Out of 18 folders above 5 of them are empty, some of these folders had a large number of photos.
Has anyone else come across this?
I have searched my pc for the photos but nothing.
I am using Windows 10 on a desktop.
I did a search in the search bar but it didn't come up with anything relevant.
I tried to put this in "Ask A Question" but it wouldn't let me attach a photo.

Are you sharing those folders with anyone or another app?
There’s also a way to hide files in directories, but I doubt that’s what’s happening.
Do a cold boot on your PC and check again.

Thank you Frank, no I'm not sharing files or anything on pc with anyone, there's only me.
Have tried a cold boot/reset but still the same unfortunately. I'll do some more research later today.
Do other people have access to your device? Is this a wordpress inquiry or related to your PC?
Only myself have access to the computer.
I guess it's both wordpress and pc related question as I'm trying to place images into a wordpress post/page on my site but now can't find the images on my pc.

Your WordPress site and PC are separate. The issue rests with your PC.
You can access the site content area - website tab top menu.

I know I can attach an image within a post, I was trying to attach an image in the "Ask a Question" section.
It doesn't have the option to add an image, no clip.
