Hello WA'ers,

Today is my first day back working after a long time coming negative Covid test.

It's a bit like first day back at school after summer holidays, some anxious anticipation.

My body still aches and energy levels really low but I've scheduled quite a light day to start so hopefully it will go fine and not too late a finish.

My first job is back up the coast so I have parked in one of my regular spots with my flask and a coffee. I like to get an early start so I can have a coffee before the first scheduled job time.

There has been some progress on the flood defense work on the beach here but still a long way to go yet.

It's a nice sunny morning but temperature only around 55f at the moment.

There is rain forecast for today and the weekend but no sign of it yet.

If the weather keeps up I hope to get out on the motorcycle at the weekend before a busy week mext week catching up on my schedule.

Well the blue skies didn't last very long, on 3rd job of the day and raining steadily with temperatures dropping.

Everyone have a great weekend, I'll be working to try and catch up on the schedule.

Andy.

That's great news about the negative test finally Andy, I hope you are back to 100% soon!

Take things easy to begin with my friend and you will be right as rain in no time!

Thanks Jessie, will do.

Good to hear buddy..

Hope you feel lots better soon.

Many Thanks, much appreciated.

I'm glad to hear that you are doing some light work here and there.
Have a great weekend, Andy.

Myra

Thank you Myra, you have a great weekend too.

This plan to keep some of the lands from flooding seems a very long-term plan.

With my experience in living my land-locked life, the only thing I can compare to is the farmers controlling the wind-blown sand by creating the terraces that run from one edge to the other of a field to grow cotton.

Glad you are up and about. A light schedule sounds sensible.
Thanks for the share,
Sami

Thank you Sami, yes it is a very long term issue, that part of the coastline has seen some major flooding over the years so I guess it's well overdue.

Glad to see you back in the saddle, Andy! Now maybe that work will progress a lot faster, my friend!

Jeff🤠

Thanks Jeff, appreciate as always and hopefully back on the m/cycle saddle this weekend.

I'm very gald to hear that, Andy!

Jeff
