My Honest Progress Thus Far
Today I'm going to be writing my first WA blog post on my progress over these past few months.
LONG Journey
I want to start off by saying that this has been a longer journey than expected. I'm doing this part time as well as being a husband and a father, so finding time to put in the work can definitely be difficult.
I'm also sort of a perfectionist, which can be a blessing and a curse. I put a lot of effort into something to try and make it "perfect", but at the same time, it typically takes me longer to complete my tasks.
I've felt like things have taken me much longer than most members out there.
Writing a post usually takes me a few weeks to finish. I know I only have a few posts under my belt and it is only the beginning, but I hear about people who pump out 2-3 posts PER WEEK, and I get jealous!
But I keep trucking along in hopes that I can start making some income here at WA. I understand that it is not going to happen overnight, but I also don't want to spend absurd amounts of time and effort only for nothing to pay off in the end.
Still, I do have confidence that there is a light at the end of this LONG tunnel, so I keep at it.
My Niche
I decided to start with something relating to working out as I began my wealthy affiliate journey. I love the gym and felt this was an easy topic to write about.
I thought about all the different gym related things that I have a good grasp on, and decided on the niche of pre workouts.
I have taken my fair share of pre workouts over the years and strongly feel that i can provide useful information to others who read my blogs.
My Successes
Thus far I have yet to make any money, but I feel like I have accomplished a lot over these past months.
Training has been awesome. Whenever I get to check off a task box I have completed, I feel elated. Whenever I go up in rank, I experience pure bliss.
WA has a good system in place and the training is thorough and easy to comprehend.
Goals Over the Next 3 Months
During this time period, I am making it a goal to make some money. At least one sale of some sort. Just something to know that my work is not for nothing and that I have helped one other person out there in the world.
If I don't make any financial progress, then I may need to reevaluate some things and decide if this is still for me or not. Let's hope this isn't the case!
I plan to complete my certification training during these next few months as well.
I would also like to get faster at pumping out articles to the point where I can make at least one or two each week.
Goals Over the Next 6 Months
Over the 6 month period, I would like to have a decent stream of money coming in. I'm not talking thousands of dollars per month (although that would be great), but maybe a few hundred dollars. Just some additional income and knowledge that my posts are being seen by people.
I would like to get even faster at writing articles, and maybe get to the point where I can make 2 per week.
If things are going well and I am making articles at a faster rate, then I may go and check out the "Affiliate Bootcamp" training to see what that is all about.
My Advice to All Us New Members
My best advice to people who are new to the community is to stay motivated and trust in the process. Without motivation and trust in WA, I feel like things would become extremely difficult, and you are only destined to fail. So stay positive!
I recommend you read the many posts that community members have posted. Maybe even take some notes. Some are honestly very useful and others are motivating, both things you need to be successful.
Listen to other's advice, and don't be afraid to ask for help/advice. I know I can be stubborn sometimes, but I've opened up and realized that this community can usually be quite helpful.
Copy the training to a tee! I have done this and have not experienced many issues so far here at WA. Be sure to watch all the videos, read the articles Kyle recommends you read, and check those boxes off after a task is completed so you can reach a state of absolute euphoria.
Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone!

Such a wonderful post! Inspiring! You have some great goals and recommendations for others to follow. As for being slow, you are not the only one. The main thing is that you understand and feel good about your accomplishments. Keep up the good work.
Thank you I appreciate it! Yes I definitely do feel good about what I accomplished thus far, and I hope to get much faster as time goes on.

Hi Alex. What a lovely post, well done. I love your honesty and the fact that you are so positive about the things you have achieved. No one ever said it was a sprint. People work here at their own pace and in their own time. That is one of the things that we all joined up for in the first place isn't it. So the fact that you are doing that, has to be applauded. I love your goals and I'm sure you will succeed in them.
I also am a perfectionist so I know what you mean about wanting to get everything right first time. But one thing I've learned is that you can always go back and change things. Get your articles up and then you can add things to them later. It doesn't all have to be perfect first go.
All the best for the next few months. Keep on doing what you're doing and all will be well.
If you also add your site to your profile page, we'll be able to visit it! Gail
Thank you for the kind words Gail! I went ahead and added my site to my profile page bio.
I'll make sure I get those articles out quicker just so I have more content. Even if they are not "perfect".
Thanks again!
Great - and I think that's perfect! Well done Alex. :)
Just to mention that there's also a place on the right hand side under your posts where you can add in all your sites and social media addresses too.
Ohhh I see. I never knew about that! Thanks for letting me know!
You're welcome. :)
