One step forward, two back

Hello, everyone! Last night I was accomplishing another blog post and felt good about it. Today I am trying to master images on my website and realized I have to review the how-to and try and find more information about images and take some time to look for free images. The look on the cat's face sums up how I feel lol. I am pushing ahead because the alternative just isn't me. I am looking forward to the day this is all second nature to me. Am I the only one struggling with this? Part of my problem is I'm picky about my images. I want it to visually match whatever the reference is...... at least to me and hope that translate to whoever is reading my blog. The other problem is I am completely new at all this. I have had a lifetime of mastering stuff like carpentry, cooking, baking, and home to name a few. Websites and affiliate marketing, not so much. I am frustrated, excited, confused, and a little proud of what I have learned so far. The biggest emotion(?) I'm feeling today impatience. Hope you have gotten a little humor and if at some point a little "thank god it's not just me". Thanks for letting me vent and I hope to get back to learning and doing.

Hey Michelle, you sound so much like I did in the beginning, lol. But the good news is that eventually, it all becomes second nature.
And it's always good to vent, haha. Better than pulling your hair out, anyway.
I'm a perfectionist, so things like formatting and images always drove me nuts.
Have you tried using Canva online? It's a free image editor with lots of images inside. And it's easy to change them up if you want to add anything to them.
I have the pro plan because I use it almost every day, but had the free membership for years.
Give it a try, you may just love it!
Cheers,
Suzanne

I have not try canva yet but I plan to. I have gone back and relearned the images. I found some new image sites with pictures I like more. I’m diving into other things with images also. Some times I have to back off learning new stuff a little bit and then I’m good to move forward again. Thanks for the comradeship!

Feeling a little stuck today too. My cat is exactly that one with brown eyes and a snaggle....so yup...hang in there . But always remember to give yourself a break too. Mentally and spiritually we all need to recharge. And a glass of wine never hurt either!

Hey Michelle...
all of us when starting something new has that same experience. As others have said as well... you're not alone!
If you find yourself getting stuck on something... just reach out and ask questions... don't hesitate...

You've got this girl. Stand up, shake it off and get back to it, lol!

We all have our struggles, frustrations and are impatient at one time or another so you are not alone.

Just keep pushing forward. Ask questions and soon you will see that this website stuff and affiliate marketing is second nature.

Hi I use Canva pro for most of my images. I have been lucky to find what I need. I am also "picky" with my images:)
