Let me introduce myself
Hi, my name is Michelle and my website is averageagingjane.com. I am new to everything LOL. New to making a website, new to affiliate sales, and my typing skills are mediocre at best. I am familiar with the computer but I am far from what you would call computer-savvy. My niche garden and yard. Now I will tell you what I have completed in a relatively short amount of time. I have a website up and running and adding more content to it every few days. I am learning to add images and learning to affiliate links. I'm just trying to build up my website. I really do think the training at wealthy affiliate is a reason why I've gotten to this point. The training And support a spectacular. The site also makes it easy to build your website.
Both I and my guy are union construction workers and in our 50s. When we started the retirement age was 50. Like most other jobs the retirement age keeps raising but due to the market, we cannot really contribute much to our retirement bottom line. We both have basically earned our retirement and just need to fill the time until we can retire. My long-term goal is to earn enough money so that we do not have to take jobs offered to us until we can retire. My short-term goal is to help people in the areas that I love and make some money in the process. Of course, if I can help people and produce income with this, I will not stop when I retire.
The bumps that I've had along the way were interesting. First off, I'm learning everything new which is exciting and completely frustrating at the same time. Secondly, I had to convince my guy that what I was doing was not just playing on the computer. It has been a little difficult for him to realize when I'm on the computer is not the time to ask me 100 questions or constantly interrupted, but he is really trying LOL. I feel like I'm not as far as most people would be at this point but I try to constantly remind myself that everything is new and that sometimes taking a little longer just makes it better in the end.

Great to have you here Michelle and so glad you are enjoying your experience thus far. There will be a learning curve of course, but you can learn this no different than riding a bike or learning to walk . There will be some "falls" on your way to success, but at the end of the day those are some of the biggest learning experiences.
