Your Thoughts on Best Social Media Feeds

Have been dealing with some shyness when it comes to setting up Social Media Feeds.

I have to admit that part of it has to do with dramatic changes that were difficult and changed the direction of websites originally started in 2018; I returned to WA after a prolonged absence and had to re-do everything.

Facebook

Going through all training again, as a bit of time has elapsed, my thoughts are that Facebook should just remain Facebook and for my family and friends, but I am curious as to your thoughts.

Somehow, they are there because I care about them and their lives and really don't wish to "sell" them on anything.

Instagram

Much smaller following there, and I haven't applied any hashtags or posts to direct to the site yet, but am percolating on that. Again, these are largely my friends, although I have begun to look into posts from people in the feeds that post things of interest to me and perhaps this is one social media site to be developed further from a self-branding perspective.

Trust me, I am in the process of becoming a whole new "brand", and some of it was not by choice - life happened.

Pinterest

Now this one intrigues me, and I have only opened the account; the site I have contains a lot of imagery and "pinning images" to drive traffic seems to make sense.

Twitter

When I hear the word "campaign", I think of politicians and it kind of gives me pause; if anyone wishes to comment on how they find twitter useful, I'm all ears.

It seems a bit frenetic to me, but perhaps I am just not familiar enough with it. Planning on going back through Kyle's training on it to get into a comfort zone with it...lol.

YouTube

When "life hit" last year, both a smile & a voice were affected. In time, they should be somewhat restored, but what was once a good voiceover voice has a bit of a lisp until that process is finished...lol.

If you have comments on how you find YouTube useful in terms of traffic, I'm all ears.

Moving Out of the Shadows

"What does not kill us makes us stronger".

This is true, but shyness is new to me and may take some time to heal.

In the meantime, I thought I would throw out these feeds on this page and see what you all have to say about it.

I appreciate this community more than you know~

All of these feeds are good and should be pursued. In FB, you set up a business page to keep personal and business separate. Just add LinkedIn to your list and post to ALL of them each time you blog.

Thank you!
