- Good keyword research and keyword use Understanding Keywords, The Start of Your Content - Good SEO layout of the post- Google Page 1 Ranking Tips: Position 4 in 3 Minutes! After posting:
- Update and submit new sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools Setting Up & Submitting a Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools and Bing How to Submit a Sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools - Submit URL to Google (instead of fetch as..) Google URL Submit - Share on your own social media profiles (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest and more)
- Share to Facebook Groups Introduction to Facebook Groups Tutorial - Tweet and tweet more. From a 1000 word post, you should be able to create at least 20 tweets (minimum) that can be scheduled for the next few weeks
- Then wait.........
Free traffic rocks and is consistent and sustainable. So go SEO, but it definitely takes a lot longer using the pure white hat methods here at WA.
You can do paid traffic, but you need to be very careful with it as it can be a money pit if you do not know hwat you are doing.
I'd stay away from traffic exchanges, but just a preference. I do not think the traffic is targeted enough.
In my two years here I noticed organic traffic is best. You need to find out what organic keywords are most popular on which posts then go back to those posts and revisit them and try and clean them up, And make sure you have a good call to action on them.
It is difficult for all of us...
